Three more COVID-19 patients were discharged on Friday in Assam after they were declared recovered from the infection.
Informing about it in a tweet, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that two patients were from Morigaon district and they were discharged from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital in Guwahati.

The third patient was discharged from Golaghat Civil Hospital.
Sarma also informed that one person from Nagaland who was undergoing treatment at Gauhati Medical College Hospital was also discharged on Friday.
“Only nine active cases remain in the state as on date,” Sarma further added in the tweet.
