Referring to a case where retired army veteran Mohammad Sanaullah was tagged as illegal foreigner, Prof Mukhi said that it was โ€œhis mistakeโ€.

โ€œHe has provided different documents on different occasions. But in todayโ€™s digital world, everything needs to be accurate and everything should match with other,โ€ asserted Mukhi claiming that there was no mistake on the part of the government.

He said that the present state government in Assam has set example against corruptions.

โ€œThis government has taken such rare example by putting the officials of state civil services behind barsโ€ฆThere is zero tolerance against corruption,โ€ said Mukhi.
