GUWAHATI: During his anticipated two-day visit to Assam starting from March 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to experience the wilderness of Kaziranga National Park with a jungle safari.
Modi is scheduled to arrive at Kaziranga in Assam on the evening of March 8 and spend the night there.

Assam forest and environment minister, Chandra Mohan Patowary, inspected Kaziranga National Park on Tuesday (February 27), holding discussions with senior officials, including Assam chief secretary Paban Borthakur and director general of police (DGP) GP Singh, to finalize the arrangements for the prime minister’s visit.
