The Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) will operate two special trains between Dibrugarh and Howrah to ease the current rush of passengers.

While one special train will run via Bogibeel bridge, the other will run via Guwahati.

The Dibrugarh – Howrah Express Special bearing the number 05962/05961 will run two days in a week leaving from Dibrugarh at 11:55 pm on Thursday and Sunday with effect from December 27 and from Howrah at 6 pm on Monday and Friday with effect from December 28.

The train will run via Bogibeel.

The Dibrugarh – Howrah Express Special bearing the number 05960/05959  will run five days in a week leaving from Dibrugarh at 6:40 pm except on Thursday and Sunday with effect from December 26 and from Howrah at 6 pm except on Monday and Friday with effect from December 29.

The train will run via Guwahati.

Moreover the NFR will also run the Silchar – Guwahati Express Special Train everyday leaving from Silchar at 7:20 am and from Guwahati at 11:55 pm from December 24.
