In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the NFR has decided to run a special train between Dibrugarh and Alipurduar.
The train No. 05918 will start operation from November 28, 2019 from Dibrugarh and the train No. 05917 will start operation on December 1, 2019 from Alipurduar, said the General Manager (Operations), Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).

In between Dibrugarh and Alipurduar, the special train (05918/05917) will move via Golakganj Junction and New Cooch Behar.
On November 28, the special train will leave Dibrugarh at 7 am.
The train will halt at a large number of stations so that the railway passengers can avail the benefit of it.

The train will arrive at New Tinsukia at 7:45 am, Duliajan at 8.30 am, Naharkatia at 8.41 am, Namrup at 8.56 am, Bhojo at 9.30 am, Simaluguri Jn. at 10.03 am, Amguri at 10.30 am and arrived at Mariani at 11.35 am.
The train will arrive at Furkating Jn. at 12.50 pm, Dimapur at 2.05 pm, Diphu at 2.55 pm, Lumding at 3.30 pm, Lanka at 4.10 am, Hojai at 4.30 pm and arrive at Kampur at 5.05 pm.
The train will arrive at Chaparmukh at 5:28 and arrive at Guwahati at 7:30 pm.
The train will leave Guwahati station at 7:50 pm and arrive at Kamakhya at 8.05 pm, Changsari at 8.38 pm, Rangiya at 9 pm, Barpeta Road at 10.10 pm.
The train will arrive at New Bongaigaon station at 11.50 pm and Kokrajhar at 12.35 am on November 29.
The train will arrive at Fakiragram station at 1 am, Sapatgram at 1.15 am, Golokganj at 2.15 am, Dhubri at 4 pm, New Coochbehar at 7 pm and will arrive at Alipurduar Jn. at 8.30 pm.
The train will have two AC-3 Tier coaches, 10 Sleeper Class coaches, 3 General Second Class coaches and two SLR/D coaches, said the General Manager (Operations), NFR.
