Jadikhe Naiso Hasom observes 16th Foundation Day

The sixteenth Foundation Day of Dimasa apex body Jadikhe Naiso Hasom was observed on Friday in Haflong. JNH president Kailan Daulagupu hoisted the flag of the organization at the Central Office at Haflong supermarket. Later the foundation stone laying ceremony of the permanent office was held at Haflong lake view road.

Jadikhe Naiso Hasom was established on this day in 2003. Later talking to reporters after the programme, JNH president Kailan Daulagupu said, “JNH was formed based on the principles of peace, development and unity. Our objective is to establish a developing and progressive Dima Hasao district involving all the communities living in the district. JNH is maintaining strict vigil so that no secessionist force can destroy the peace and harmony in the district”.

Founder president of JNH Bahim Chandra Langthasa, Dimasa Sahitya Sabha president Dinendra Thausen, social activist Kumud Kemprai ADSU president Uttam Langthasa, former MLA Samarjeet Haflongbar, Surya Thaosen, Editor Dima Hasao Post and others were present on the occasion.
