Guwahati is all set to host the All India FCI Inter-Zonal Cultural Competition 2020 on March 4-5.
The competition will be held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra in Guwahati.
The Assam director general of police, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, and the GOC of 51 Sub Area, Maj. Gen. Jarken Gamlin are expected to be present as the chief guest of the event’s opening and closing ceremony respectively.
The organisers have informed that teams from the FCI headquarters in New Delhi along with five FCI zones will participate in the scheduled events of dance, singing, instrumental programme and drama.
Well-known personalities like Joly Borah and Rupam Jyoti Bora and others will grace the occasion as esteemed judges.
Anurag Gupta, president of ZSPC (Northeast), executive director, Northeast, informed that the programme will start at 2 pm on both the days.
The programme will be held at Sri Sri Madhavdeva International Auditorium of the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra.
