Guwahati is all set to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between India and Oman on September 5, 2019.

Although there are fifteen days left for the big event slated to be held at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium at Sarusajai in Guwahati, the state government and the Assam Football Association(AFA) are leaving no stone unturned to make the match a fun filled one.

AFA general secretary Hemendra Kumar Brahma said that posters featuring Assam footballers Halicharan Narzary and Vinit Rai will set up across the city in order to attract football fans.

Brahma said that the ticket prices for the upcoming football match are Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 200.The tickets priced at Rs 50 are for students.

One can book the tickets for the upcoming football match online through the BookMyShow website or app.

The tickets will also be available at counters a few days before the match.

A total of 23000 tickets have been printed for the upcoming football match. Among these tickets, 15000 have been printed for the public and 8000 are reserved tickets.

The All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) said that the Indian and Oman football teams will reach Guwahati on September 2, 2019.
