A student from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) Guwahati, Hrishikesh Barman has been selected for attending a technical conference in Munich.
The two-day technical conference ‘PromCon EU 2019’ is scheduled to be held from Thursday to Friday.
The conference is held under the Diversity scholarships of Google.
The travel funding is sponsored by Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
The conference is aimed to teach its participants the best ways of using the Prometheus monitoring system which is an application software used for event monitoring and alerting.
The first day of the conference will start at 8:15 am on Thursday.
It will end at 7 pm on Thursday.
The second day of the conference will start at 8:30 am and end at 6 pm.
Hrishikesh who is a 7th semester Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) student of GIMT Guwahati has been selected the prestigious technical conference under a Google scholarship.
