The former Team India captain and the present president of the Cricket Association of Bengal Saurav Ganguly hailed the Assam Cricket Association for the smooth hosting of the ODI on Sunday.

The opening match of the five-match India-West Indies ODI series was held at the Assam Cricket Association(ACA) Stadium also known as Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati without any incident.

Ganguly, who watched the first part of the match said Assam has been able to organize national and international matches efficiently. After the ACA stadium was built, the cricket infrastructure has developed to a great extent and the state may get a chance to organize more international matches.
