Dalmia Cement to host 2nd edition of Mobile Theatre Awards

Dalmia Bharat Cement is all set to organize its 2nd edition of Udyaman Bhraymaman, Mobile Theatre Awards on June 20 , 2018 at Pragjyoti ITA Machkhowa, Guwahati. The award ceremony aims to recognise the efforts of all those involved in the mobile theatre industry.

Speaking about the event,  Sunil Aggarwal, Head Sales and Marketing, Dalmia Bharat Cement said, “We started Udyaman Bhraymaman last year as we understand the importance of the Mobile theatres of Assam and the impact it has on the social fabric especially in the rural heartlands of Assam. Dalmia Cement has always tried to acknowledge the art and culture of the region and Mobile theatre is a big part of it.”

Udyaman Bhraymaman will award artistes in 28 different categories which also includes the Life Time Achievement award. A special award instituted by Dalmia Bharat Cement called the Young Achievers Award will also be given this year.

This industry stands on the contribution of many people who serve mobile theaters in various capacities touring around 75-80 town over a season spanning around 247 days with an average of 2 shows per day with performers performing every day without a break. These awards program aim to recognise the contributions of all these people.
