Mandal, who works at the Kokrajhar Revenue Circle has been arrested by the police on Monday. 

The Mandal has been identified as Moidul Islam.

Islam was caught red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 5000. 

Moreover, Rs 41,000 have also been recovered from his possession. 

“Sri Moidul Islam working as Mandal at Kokrajhar Revenue Circle Office has been arrested red handed today by @KokrajharP while accepting a bribe of Rs.5000. An amount of Rs 41,000/ has also been seized from his possession,” Special DGP of Assam – GP Singh tweeted.
