Assam is likely to face massive power cuts in the coming days. 

This power crisis in Assam may happen reportedly due to acute shortage of coal supply to thermal power plants. 

There is a reported shortage of coal at the National Thermal Power Station in Kokrajhar district of Assam. 

The Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APDCL) has said that the power situation in the state is at a “critical level”. 

With an eminent load shedding crisis looming large, the APDCL has urged the people of Assam to use electricity judiciously.

Not only Assam, several other states across the country is facing massive power cuts.
