Assam has registered 10 new COVID19 positive cases taking the state’s total to 714.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday said 9 of the infected patients are from Charaideo district while one is from Sivasagar district.
With the new cases, the number of active COVID19 cases in Assam has increased to 645.

Earlier, a total of 62 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam after their recovery.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 4 persons while 3 cases migrated.
“Total cases 714. Recovered 62. Active cases 645. Deaths 04. Migrated 03,” the health minister added.
India has registered so far 1,51,767 COVID19 positive cases.
The death toll in the country stands at 4,337.
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Delhi have reported the highest number of COVID19 positive cases.
Globally, the COVID19 has affected over 5.59 million people and at least 3.5 lakh people have died so far.
