Assam has registered 27 more new COVID19 positive cases taking the state’s total to 643.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 9.50 pm on Tuesday said all the infected patients are from Golaghat district.

“Alert ~ 27 new cases of #COVID19+ reported from Golaghat,” health minister Sarma tweeted.
With the news cases, the number of active COVID19 cases registered in Assam has increased to 574.
Earlier, a total of 62 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the state after their complete recovery.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 4 persons in Assam while 3 cases migrated.
“Total cases 643. Recovered 62. Active cases 574. Deaths 04. Migrated 03,” Sarma added.
Within 22 hours on Tuesday, Assam has registered a total of 104 COVID19 positive cases.
