Due to COVID-19 lockdown, Tezpur University has extended the last date of submission of filled in online application form for admission to various programmes for Tezpur University Entrance Examination 2020.
The last date is extended to April 30, 2020 from April 7, 2020.
Further, keeping in view of the lockdown, the applicants who are yet to obtain their caste certificates (such as, SC/ST/OBC (NCL) /EWS) and other relevant certificate (such as, PWD/ Ward or Widows of Defense Personnel/PRC etc) may submit an undertaking in the prescribed format in place of caste or other certificates at the time of submission of online application form.
“Due to lockdown, all offices are shut and no one can step out of their houses. Therefore, if any applicants do not have the mentioned certificates; by submitting an undertaking maycomplete the admission procedure. They will be allowed to appear in the Entrance Examination based on the Undertaking,” Dr L Boral, controller of Examinations informed.
“However, the selected candidates will be required to submit the relevant certificates at the time of online counseling and payment of fees. This step is taken so that no applicant should suffer from the lockdown.” Dr Boral further added.
