A total of 6 COVID19 patients were discharged on Friday from various hospitals in Assam.
The news has been shared by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday afternoon.

With the release of these patients, the number of COVID-19 active cases registered in the state reached 794.
Health minister Sarma said the COVID19 patients were discharged after their samples tested negative for the virus twice.
“Glad to share that 6 patients have been discharged today from GMCH in Assam after being tested #COVID19 negative twice,” Sarma tweeted.

Earlier on the day, Sarma informed that 30 new cases were reported in the state taking the overall tally to 910.
Among the 30 new cases, 16 are from Golaghat, 6 from Karimganj, 2 from Lakhimpur, 2 from Cachar, 2 from Hailakandi, and 2 from Karbi Anglong.
