Chief of Staff of the British Armed Forces, Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter arrived at the Kaziranga National Park on Wednesday morning along with his family on a private visit.
In a moment of global recognition for the national park, the British official arrived along with his wife Louise Anne Ewart and their two children to enjoy the unique and untamed wilderness of Kaziranga.
The park authorities have laid out a plan for the British army official and his family to enjoy the beauty of Kaziranga and everything that the famed world heritage site has to offer.
An elephant ride has been organized for the family of the British official along the Bagori range of the park. The family reportedly was completely engulfed by the flora and fauna of the national park.
The family has been comfortably accommodated at the Army Guest House located at Tezpur.
It is also to be noted that the family has been accompanied by high ranking officials from the Indian Army and the British High Commission.
