Assam on Wednesday recorded four more positive coronavirus cases, taking Assam’s overall tally to five. The first positive case was reported on Tuesday.
If doctors are to be believed then a 45-year-old Bajali youth may become Assam’s sixth coronavirus case after he showed symptoms of COVID-19.
Doctors informed that the youth had recently returned from Kerala.
Even though he had self-quarantined himself, but he from the past few began showing COVID-19 symptoms, doctors said.
“For the past few days the man was suffering from high fever and dry cough- both preliminary symptoms of COVID-19,” doctors said.
After initial treatment, he was sent to Fakaruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) in Barpeta for further treatment and tests.
