Guwahati: At least 40 thousand Yaba tablets worth Rs 8 crore were seized in Karbi Anglong, Assam on Thursday.
According to sources, the police based on inputs, intercepted a suspicious vehicle near the Dillai Point in Bokajan, Karbi Anglong.
On Checking the car, the police found a hidden compartment in the engine bay.

Further checking the compartment, the police found a massive amount of Yaba tablets.
The police said that the tablets were worth for than Rs 8 crore in the local grey market.

Two suspects were nabbed in connection with the incident.
An investigation has been initiated to identify the source and destination of the suspected drugs.
