Along with the rest part of the world, the Biswanath unit of Durniti Birodhi Yuba Shakti, Asom organized a plantation program as part of the World Environment Day near Biswanath Ghat Devalaya at Guptakashi in Biswanath district of Assam on Tuesday.

Durniti Birodhi Yuba Shakti activists also took out a bicycle rally as part of the programme to create awareness among people regarding plantation and also did plantation along the road to Biswanath Chariali.

Senior citizen of Biswanath Ghat Abani Kumar Das and journalist Kaji Jeidul Islam were present in the plantation programme.

The organization activists informed that they would continue the plantation programme for one month across the Biswanath district.

Locals were also present in the programme.
