A pregnant woman- Munzila Khatun- travelling from Bangalore to Guwahati via Bangalore-Guwahati Express gave birth to triplets of which two children died.
As per railway sources Khatun gave birth to three premature babies on Friday at Jaipur-Keonjhar Road railway station in Odisha.

“A pregnant lady from Assam, travelling to Guwahati from Bangalore gave birth to triplets in the running train,” railway authorities said.
“She was attended by railway doctors at Bhadrak Railway Station. Her condition is stable,” authorities informed.
“Of the three babies, two died while one was alive and after cutting the umbilical cord, the mother and the baby were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Bhadrak,” authorities added.
