Guwahati: Three people were killed in Goalpara, Assam during an accident between a bus and a car on Friday.

According to reports, the accident took place in the Rangjuli area of Goalpara, Assam when a car had a head-on collision with a bus.
At least three people who were on board the car died on the spot before any medical assistance could arrive.

Of the deceased, two were women while one was reported to be a minor.
The deceased were identified as Mina Rabha, Krit Rai and Manju Rai.
The vehicle was being driven by Mina Rabha who allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with the bus.
Some others on the bus have been reported to be injured as well.
The police have begun an investigation into the accident.
Earlier on Wednesday, two persons were killed in a similar accident between a truck and a motorcycle in Goalpara.
The deceased were on a motorcycle when they suddenly had a collision with a dumper truck in the Dariduri area of Goalpara.
Locals claimed that the truck was on the wrong way but the police said that they are investigating.

It was also alleged that the truck was speeding.
The deceased were identified as Jahangir Alam and Mohammad Kaif.
