For the overall development of Government school students of Nilbagan Model Higher Secondary School in Hojai district, a three-day summer camp was organized at the school premises under the aegis of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan.
The camp began on Tuesday morning in the premises of Nilbagan Model Higher Secondary School at Nilbagan area under Hojai district.

The summer camp began with the hoisting of school flags by Principal Faiz Mahmud Borbhuyan followed by ceremonial lighting of lamp by Hojai district Superintendent of Police Ankur Jain, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the students, SP Jain encouraged them to be good citizens. Jain lauded the efforts by the school administration in organizing such events which are significant for the all-round development of students.
“Consistency with hard work in the right direction is the key to success,” the SP added.

Around 120 students from 12 schools in Hojai district participated in the camp. The summer camp will conclude on Thursday. Various games, speech by educationalists, cultural programmes were also organised on the first day of the camp.
The summer camp has been aimed at providing excellent opportunity to learn and grab skills, team spirit, self-confidence and sportsmanship while enjoying to the fullest.
In this camp, forest range official of Kapili Valley Range, Hriday Hazarika, SP Ankur Jain along with the members of Hojai District All Assam Minority Students’ Union (AAMSU) planted several saplings in the school campus.
Also, around 300 saplings of different species were distributed by Kapili Valley range officials.
