Following the decision made taken by the Special State Executive Committee meeting headed by the Assam chief secretary, Kumar Sanjay Krishna, in Guwahati, the Dima Hasao deputy commissioner cum chairman, District Disaster Management Authority, Amitabh Rajkhowa has written to the Dima Hasao superintendent of police, Bir Bikram Gogoi, regarding the migrant labours stranded in this district.
As per the letter the superintendent of police is to arrange for transporting the migrant labours who are stranded in Dima Hasao district, to their native places.

This is to be done only after ensuring proper medical checkup of the labours is completed.
While transporting them to their native place, social distancing norm is to be followed as requested by the deputy commissioner.
