Sprint queen Hima Das has again gained the love and respect of her fans of Assam by contributing half of her monthly salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the ongoing worse flood situation in the State.

Apart from contributing her money to help the people affected by floods in Assam, she also requested other people and corporate houses to donate money and provide help to those affected by floods in her home state.
Hima Das stated on her official Twitter handle, “Flood situation in our state Assam is very critical, 30 out of 33 districts are currently affected. So I would like to request big corporates and individuals to kindly come forward and help our state in this difficult situation.”
The ‘Dhing Express’ has been bringing laurels to her country by bagging three international gold medals this year.
She won her first international gold medal at the women’s 200 m race at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland.
Hima bagged her second international gold in women’s 200 m at the Kutno Athletics Meet also in Poland.
She finished at the top for the third time and clinched the gold medal at the Kladno Memorial Athletics Meet in Czech Republic.
