The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has released the programme of the HSLC/AHM Examination, 2021.
According to the programme, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC)/Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examination 2021 will be held from May 11-June 1, 2021.

The examination will be held from 9 am-12 noon in the morning and 1:30 pm-4:30 pm in the afternoon.
Examination of English subject will be held on May 11, 2021 (Tuesday) at 9 am-12 noon while examination of Assamese (E) will be held at 9 am on May 13, 2021 (Thursday).

Wood Craft (E), Retail Trade NSQF (E), IT/ITeS NSQF (E), Private Security NSQF (E), Health Care NSQF (E), Agriculture & Horticulture NSQF (E) [Agriculture (Animal Health Worker NSQF)], Tourism & Hospital NSQF (E) examination will be held at 9 am on May 15, 2021 (Saturday).
General Mathematics exam will be held at 9 am on May 17, 2021 (Monday).
Fiqh & Aqunid, Music (E), Dance (E), Weaving & Textile Design (E) exam will be held at 1.30 pm on May 18, 2021 (Tuesday).
Manipuri (E), Bodo (E), Santhali (E) exam will be held at 9 am on May 19, 2021 (Wednesday).
MIL/English (IL) exam will be held at 9 am on May 21, 2021 (Friday) while Fine Art (E) exam will be held at 1.30 pm on May 22, 2021 (Saturday).
General Science exam will be held at 9 am on May 25, 2021 (Tuesday), while Social Science exam will be held at 9, am on May 29, 2021 (Saturday).
Hindi (E), Arabic Literature, Garment Designing (E) exam will be held at 9 am on May 31, 2021.
Sanskrit (E), Arabic (E), Persian (E), Advanced Mathematics (E), History (E), Geography (E), Home Science (E), Nepali (E), Computer Science (E) and Bengali (E) examination will be held at 9 am on June 1, 2021 (Tuesday).
As per the schedule, DISHA Psychometric Test will be held on June 2, 2021. Details will be notified soon, SEBA stated.
“Five minutes extra time is allowed to from 8:55 am to 9 am in the morning shift and 1:25 pm to 1:30 pm in the afternoon shift to read the question paper only. The officer-in-charge will arrange distribution of question papers,” SEBA said.
“Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo & Uru. There will be separate question papers for subjects – Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu MIL for the High Madrassa candidates having 50 marks and time duration 2 hours, SEBA states.
Elective languages (Time: 3 hours) and in lieu of languages (Time 2 hours): There will be a common question paper with Group A & B for each language viz. Assamese (E), Bengali (E), Hindi (E), Bodo (E), Manipuri (E) and Santhali (E), irrespective of Elective or in lieu of language.
SEBA has also issued programme for HSLC (Practical) Examination, 2021.
According to the programme, practical examination for Garment Designing (E), Music (E), Fine Art (E) & Computer Science (E) will be held from 9 am-12 noon on March 4, 2021 (Thursday).
The practical exam for Home Science (E), Dance (E), Weaving & Textile Design (E), Wood Craft (E), Retail Trade NSQF (E), IT/ITeS NSQF (E), Private Security NSQF (E), Health Care NSQF (E), Agriculture & Horticulture NSQF (E) [Agriculture (Animal Health Worker NSQF], Tourism & Hospitality NSQF (E) will be held from 9 am-12 noon on March 5, 2021 (Friday).
“Examination of all the above practical subjects will be held in the examination centre from where the candidates appear in theory subjects for the same. This year, the practical examination will not be held in venues,” Nayan Jyoti Sarmah, controller of examinations, SEBA, stated.
