Keeping aside all speculations, Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday announced that the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination would begin on May 11 in the state.

Education minister Sarma said the Higher Secondary examination will begin on May 12.

The results of the HSLC examination will be announced within July 7, 2021, Sarma said.

The results of the HS examination will be declared within July 30, 2021, Sarma informed on his Twitter handle on Saturday.

Education minister Sarma tweeted on Saturday: “ANNOUNCEMENT – HSLC & HS examinations,2021 will be conducted as follows: 1. HIgh School leaving certificate examination from 11th May. 2. Higher Secondary examination from 12th May. Result of HSLC & HS examinations will be declared within 7th and 30th July respectively.”
