Assam reports 30 more Covid19 deaths, 2,479 new positive cases

Assam has registered 30 more Covid19 deaths and 2,479 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

Confirming the news, Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta in a tweet on Wednesday eveing said the new cases were confirmed out of 91,452 tests.

The overall positivity percentage of Assam stood at 2.71% on Wednesday, according to the data shared by the health minister.

Of the new Covid19 positive cases, Kamrup Metro reported 137 cases.

The health minister informed that a total of 30 patients died of the deadly disease on Wednesday.

Hundreds of patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from on the day.

The state’s Covid19 recovery rate was 93.91%.
