Assam registered one more COVID19 positive case taking the state’s total to 92.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the infected patient has been detected in Sonitpur district.

With the new positive case, the number of active COVID19 cases in Assam has increased to 47.
Earlier, a total of 41 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the state after their recovery.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 2 persons while 2 persons have been migrated.

Informing about the latest COVID19 positive case registered in Assam, health minister Sarma tweeted: “Alert ~ One person from Sonitpur district has tested #COVID19 positive.
“Total cases 92. Recovered 41. Active cases 47. Deaths 2. Migrated 2,” Sarma added.
