The Kokrajhar District Sports Association (KDSA) organized a day-long seminar on ‘Referee Law’ held at KDSA Indoor Stadium at Kokrajhar on Sunday.

Around 50 volunteers, who came from different places like Simborgaon, Jharbari, Fakiragram, Basugaon as well as clubs, attended the seminar.

Doneswar Gayary, Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), who is in charge of Urban Development and Sports Welfare, inaugurated the seminar.

Prabir Bhattacharjee, secretary of the Referee Board KDSA said the KDSA has initiated the day-long seminar on ‘Referee Law’, as in every June of the year, if any new law is framed for the referees it is informed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Bhattacharjee said Gautam Kalita, Assam Football Association’s Referee Instructor attended the inaugural programme as the chief guest and as a resource person in the seminar.
