One person has been killed and one injured in a road accident in Kakojan area in Teok in Assam’s Jorhat district.
The deceased has been identified as Saurav Saikia of Pirakota Bharalua village.
The injured person is a resident of the Kakojan Sonari village.
The accident occurred late in the night on Wednesday when Saikia’s motorcycle, bearing the registration number AS03N6546 had collided with a dump truck from behind.
The victim died on the spot after hitting the truck that had been parked on the roadside.
