Assam agriculture minister Atul Bora’s convoy met with a road accident at Umran Dairy near Nongpoh on the Guwahati-Shillong road on Thursday.
As per reports, Minister Bora did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
The convoy was on its way to Silchar from Guwahati when one of the vehicles turned turtle after it lost control at Umran Dairy in Meghalaya’s Ri-Bhoi district.
Two police constables who were in the minister’s pilot car, however, got minor injuries in the accident, sources said.
