Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR)’s Lumding division has emerged as the top performer in Indian Railways for the month of October as per a report released recently.
The Indian Railways had monitored the functioning among its various divisions according to a set of indicators which had been termed as Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
As per the report, the railway divisions were monitored on the basis of five indicators- safety works, business and financial performance, mobility, throughput and capacity utilization, asset reliability, punctuality performance of Mail Express.
Lumding division scored 100 per cent in safety works, 89 per cent in business and financial performance, 95 per cent in mobility, throughput and capacity utilization, 92.3 per cent in asset reliability and 95 per cent in punctuality performance of Mail Express.
The total score of NFR’s Lumding division is 94 per cent.
Thrilled with the performance of one of its divisions, NFR tweeted:
“Lumding division of NFR becomes top performer in Indian Railways, attains #1 position in Key Performance Indicators (KPI)in October 2019, due to hardwork, planning and execution and continuous monitoring by all officers and staff. It motivates us to work with more zeal and enthusiasm.”
The other four top performers include Sambalpur, Ahmedabad, Mysore and Hubli railway divisions.
