A three-day programme on ‘Marketing of spices’ began from Thursday in Assam’s Kokrajhar.

The training programme is organized by Farmer’s Agri Business Consortium, and funded and supported by CCS National Institute of Agriculture Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur Rajasthan.

The programme is being held at Kokrajhar Girl’s College Auditorium.

BTC executive member Ansumwi Khunggur Boro inaugurated the training programme in presence of large gathering of participants.

Director of Agriculture BTC, M M Swargoyary, Sheel Biotech Limited, New Delhi senior manager Subodh Panwar, Farmer’s Agri Business Consortium manager S K Das were among those present on the occasion.

Talking to media, BTC executive member Ansumwi Khunggur said the BTC has given much importance and priority to the agriculture sector.

He also said the BTC has been giving emphasis on improvement of markets and agriculture business for the benefit of farmers.

He said BTC has taken up various programmes for the benefit of farmers in BTAD.
