The programme is jointly supported by IOCL Digboi Refinery and the Indian Army, with NIEDO, Tinsukia, as the implementing agency.

Under the programme, 45 students from economically weaker sections received free NEET coaching, accommodation, meals, study materials and mentorship. Of them, 30 qualified NEET 2026.

Among the successful candidates was Nabajyoti Mili from Tirika Gaon in Assam’s Dhemaji district, who scored 426 marks in NEET 2026.

They said students from previous batches have secured admission to medical, engineering, paramedical and other professional courses.

Congratulating the students, Rahul Prashant praised their determination and said Indian Oil would continue supporting educational initiatives for deserving students. He also thanked the Indian Army and NIEDO for their role in implementing the programme.

Colonel Shivek Sharma congratulated the successful candidates and encouraged them to uphold the values of compassion, integrity and service as they pursue careers in medicine.
