Doomdooma: A recruitment rally for the engagement of porters under the Indian Army’s 10th Battalion, The Mahar Regiment, is scheduled to be held at Lekhapani in Assam’s Tinsukia district in the second or third week of August 2026.
According to a notice issued by the 10th Battalion, The Mahar Regiment, selected candidates will be engaged with the Porter Company for 179 days from September 1, 2026.
The recruitment drive is expected to provide an opportunity for eligible and interested candidates to seek temporary engagement with the Army’s Porter Company.
Candidates willing to participate have been asked to report at the designated venue on the specified date and time mentioned in the recruitment notice.
The authorities have also directed applicants to carry all original documents along with photocopies for verification during the recruitment process.
