Rank system stays for now

AHSEC secretary Kamal Gogoi said that the rank system stays in the Higher Secondary final results this year.

Last year, the AHSEC top brass said that the Council will place the idea of abolishing the tradition of announcing rank holders in the Class XII examination before its general council meeting.

“We could not place the proposal before the general council meeting. However, we have decided to hold a discussion in this regard this year,” said Gogoi.
