Police in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district have recovered heroin worth over Rs 4 crore.
Two persons have also been arrested in connection with the recovery.

The arrested persons were transporting the contraband consignment on board a bus, which came from Manipur.
Altogether 586 grams of heroin were recovered by the Bokajan police during routine frisking of vehicles at Laharijan outpost.

The arrested persons have been identified as Irengbam Kokil (35) and Irengbam Babu Singha (32).
