A five-day-long AICTE-sponsored online AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Leadership and Excellence in workplace’ organized by GIPS Guwahati concluded successfully.
The Faculty Development Program was held from October 25-29, 2021.
On the first day of the inaugural session, the participants were welcomed by Chief patron Ratul Das, president of SSA Society, Guwahati; Patron Prof. Gouranga Das, Principal, GIPS-Guwahati and Coordinator of the FDP, Dr. DipankarSaha, Associate Professor, GIPS-Guwahati.
Fourteen technical sessions were conducted during the FDP.

The keynote speakers were Prof. SK Ghosh from Dibrugarh University, Dr. Mukulesh Barua, Member Secretary, SLET Commission, Assam and Northeast; Dr. Binnu Singh, Head (General Manager)Regulatory Affairs, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Pune and many others from different re-knowned universities across the country.
The speakers shared their knowledge on leadership and excellence.
The participants were faculty members and research scholars of different colleges and universities across the country.

“The FDP ended with an online assessment test followed by a valedictory session which was concluded by the coordinator of the Faculty Development Program, Dr. Dipankar Saha, Associate Professor, GIPS-Guwahati with a vote of thanks,” the organisers informed.
Saha expressed his gratitude to AICTE New Delhi for the financial grant to conduct the FDP.
