The Department Of Electrical Engineering, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) Guwahati has stepped in to conduct a parent teacher meet from Wednesday to April 25 next.
This meeting will be conducted online via Google Meet and Skype and via phone calls in areas with weak internet connection.
The meeting is planned to interact with each and every parent of the students of Electrical Engineering from first year to fourth year.
In this hour of crisis, GIMT Fraternity already have shifted our learning process to e-learning with our learners engaged with faculty members through google meet, zoom, skype and webinars.
Now, it is also our responsibility to ensure that our students and parents are safe and are aware of all the precautions to be taken during this situation.
We further pledge to provide a continuous learning platform to our students irrespective of their locations.
This meeting shall bring a sense of satisfaction among us to see our parents helping and monitoring their wards in the process of e-learning.
We are a ‘one family as a whole’ and mutual cooperation and effective understanding will help us fight together the pandemic and at the same time grow academically, stated a press release.
“The faculty members of Electrical Engineering department are waiting eagerly to interact with our respected parents from April 22 to 25, 2020,” the release added.
