The final list of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) with individual statuses of the 3.30 crore applicants was published online on Saturday.

Every individual can now log in to the NRC website and check their respective statuses by typing their respective ARN numbers.

The list published on Saturday includes those individuals whose names have been accepted, excluded and those whose appeals are pending.

In total 3,30,27,661 persons applied for inclusion of their names in the updated NRC list, however, over 1.9 million people were excluded from the final list and over three 3.11 crore persons were included.

The excluded persons, however, can approach foreigners’ tribunals and appeal against their exclusions within 120 days of the publication of the final list.

The excluded persons will also receive a certificate from the FTs, wherein it will be explained in details as to why they were left out of the final NRC.
