Former Miss India finalist Rajkanya Baruah has injured as many as nine labourers of the PWD (Public Works Department) in a road accident in Guwahati, Assam.
Rajkanya Baruah was allegedly driving her car in a highly intoxicated condition.
Rajkanya Baruah was returning home after attending a birthday event at Taj Vivanta in Guwahati, when she rammed her car into labourers near Down Town area.
Condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical. The seriously injured person has reportedly also lost one of his legs.
The injured persons are being treated at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH).

According to officials of the Dispur Police Station, Rajkanya Baruah tried to flee the spot but couldn’t.
Meanwhile, reports say that Rajkanya Baruah also misbehaved with police and journalists.
Rajkanya has been booked under sections 279/338/294/353 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
