Assam down town University (ADTU) and Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic and research collaboration.
The signing ceremony was organised at the conference hall of BBCI, where representatives from the ADTU and BBCI discussed areas of synergies, which can be facilitated under the purview of the collaboration.

Vice Chancellor of ADTU – Dr NC Talukdar and Deputy Registrar (Academics) Nitul Jyoti Das represented the University at the signing ceremony.

“The MoU aims to create a framework for a platform of collaboration between ADTU and BBCI to make joint effort in conducting research, training and consultancy in areas of health in India and abroad,” authorities informed.

Assam Down Town University and BBCI are also planning to develop new experimental and research facilities in both the institutes through mutual cooperation.

There shall also be exchange of PG students in Health and Allied Health Sciences for clinical exposure.
