Guwahati: Guwahati-based filmmaker Kishore Kalita’s latest documentary, “Letters From Vietnam,” has been officially selected for the MAX SIR International Film Festival 2024 in Costa Rica.

This follows the critical acclaim and awards received for his previous film, “Veerangana.”

Kalita’s journey through Vietnam was a spiritually moving experience. He captured the essence of the country’s diverse regions, from the bustling cities to the serene countryside. His boat trips through the intricate network of rivers and canals provided breathtaking views of the picturesque Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
