Assam reported 6 more deaths due to Covid19 infection and 139 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Informing about the state’s Covid19 update on Sunday, Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta in a tweet said the overall positivity percentage of the state stood at 0.71%.

The new cases (139) were detected out of 19,713 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the data shared by health minister Keshab Mahanta.

Of the new positive cases, the Kamrup Metro district registered 43 cases.

While 6 Covid19 patients lost their lives due to infection, the state’s recovery rate stood at 98.38% on Sunday.

On Saturday Assam reported 3 deaths due to Covid19 infection while the state reported 2 deaths on Friday.
On Saturday, Assam registered a total of 324 new Covid19 positive cases and on Friday, the state reported a total of 315 positive cases.
The overall positivity percentage of Assam stood at 0.81%. on Saturday.
The 324 new cases on Saturday were detected out of 39,768 tests.
On Saturday, the Kamrup Metro district reported a total of 88 new Covid19 cases.
The state’s Covid19 recovery rate stood at 98.37% on Saturday.
Assam’s overall positivity percentage was 0.81% on Friday.
On Friday, 315 new cases were detected out of 38,899 tests.
The Kamrup Metro district reported 115 new cases on Friday.
