The construction of an alternate road to Kamakhya Temple connecting Pandu temple ghat with Bangshi Bagan is progressing steadily.

“Good morning, nothing better to end this series. Glad to share this sight of the ongoing work on an alternative road to Maa Kamakhya Temple at #Guwahati under North Guwahati State Road Division. This was much-needed. Thank you all very much,” Sarma tweeted.
The project is expected to get completed within three years.
The construction of the road began in January last year and an amount of Rs 14 crore has been sanctioned for the project.
