The Assam CM informed that he also apprised the PM โon the various efforts underway to mitigate the challenges faced by our peopleโ.
โI also discussed the status of ongoing developmental works,โ he said.

The floods have been wreaking havoc in several regions of Assam, displacing thousands and causing extensive damage.
Sarma highlighted the Assamโs response to the flood crisis, including rescue operations, relief measures, and long-term plans to prevent future flooding.
Furthermore, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for a historic third term.
