The Assam CM in his speech mentioned that the BJP after coming to power in the state in 2016 has worked for development of every section of the society following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.

Sonowal came down heavily on Congress for not doing anything for the people in their last 15 years.

He said under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, they have a dream to build a new India.

Sonowal said they are committed to work for the all round development of the people.

Chief minister Sonowal said in the recent panchayat elections, their party has showed good result which was not expected.

“In the recent panchayat elections without alliance, we have showed good result and it is sure that the people want us because our party is committed to work for the development of the people,” the CM said.

“In the last two years and 10 months, our government has put Assam on the fast-track of progress. During 50 years of Congress rule in Assam, the state was far behind other states of the country. After BJP came to power in Assam, significant developments have taken place at such a short period of time,” Sonowal said.
