Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal termed the state budget 2020-21 as a pro-people and said it will adequately reflect the aims and aspirations of the people.
The budget was presented in the Assam Legislative Assembly on Friday.
In a post-budget presentation reaction, Sonowal while welcoming the budget said that the budget will benefit all sections of the people living.
He also said that the budget will stimulate development and lend equal dignity, equal growth to all.
Sonowal also said that the budget has provided steps to catapult social, economic, educational empowerment along with providing social security to all in the state.
He also thanked finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for presenting a budget which will be the catalyst for equal development and equal dignity of all sections of the people belonging to all districts.
